Hand Carved "Hearts of Oak" Novelty Steampunk-style Brooch

My son makes these "Hearts of Oak" wooden medals/brooches for our local Steampunk community. Made from reclaimed oak and mahogany, they are shaped as an equilateral cross which predates Christianity, and symbolises the four cardinal directions and elements.
11.5cm from top of mounting to bottom of equilateral cross. 6cm wide.
